CIS Project Description
I would be doing research on mobile technology. I will talk about multiple perspectives of mobile technology which includes: economic perspective, technological perspectives, sociological perspective and possibly a few others. I also will touch upon the pros and cons of mobile technology in my own opinion.

Hey I think you're research project sounds like a good topic. I'm also doing something along the same line. I agree with you how mobile technology has changed immensely throughout time and it has influenced the the economy (how people do business), social life, etc... There is certainly a lot of things to talk about here.
ReplyDeleteI like that the fact that you're not only sticking to the pros of mobile technology but also the cons. It's also important to note the cons of having advanced technology. Some issues such as privacy issues have been called upon.

I wanted to just mention that mobile technology plays a huge part when it comes to privacy. System Administrators have access to vital information such as email and text messages that if the wrong person got hold of could potentially cause irreparable damage to a person.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what your research will be about smartphones and social problems. I have a blackberry phone myself and I can honestly admit that since I've got it, I cannot imagine my life without a smartphone! I have my tests schedule in my calendar, birthday reminders etc. I don't know how people were able to memorize all those things before smartphones were invented!

ReplyDeleteI'm a CIS Major student. I believe our world is moving into a brand new page which people are tend to enjoy the new technology more and more especially the mobile technology. and people now a day cares more on the portability instead of performance( I meant things like IPad are more portable compare to a laptop, its performance is lower but probably more people will choose IPad over Laptops) .
